Growth

Wow!!!! What a week I've had!!! So much great things have been appearing in my life! I am over come with emotion of gratitude, love, and passion! So much growth is happening in all areas of my life, and I'm riding the roller coaster of life, and not letting go!

On Monday I found out that I was to start my new job. I was training Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Today (Friday) I was back at the day care one last time. I miss the kids, but this will be a great step in my growth in the working realm of my life.

I loving my new job, it's going to be so great to be supporting families going through a struggle.

I'm also feeling lots of gratitude for the opportunity to be dancing this coming Sunday at the Sun and Salsa Festival here in my home town. I'll be dancing two numbers with fellow members of the Sizzle Girls. One dance has just five of us, and the other has 13 of us. It's been on my vision board to perform with the Sizzle Girls, yes, but the next step was to perform at a festival. And that's going to be happening! And I can't wait!

With Awakening Goddess, I've had positive responses from women who've I spoken with. I am so grateful and proud all at the same time to let you all know that I've been invited to speak/inspire/dance at an event here in my home town for women only. It's called "Heart Open to the Max" Ladies night on Aug. 5. To be in a room full of women, inspiring them to live their life to be fully who they are and accept their own wisdom, beauty, grace, and power will be an amazing experience for me.

I am excited for this opportunity. There are so many people to thank along this journey. My dance teacher Di especially for teaching me everything I know about Burlesque dancing. My spiritual teachers Suzanne, Satyen, and the entire Sr. Staff team of WarriorSage for teaching me about living my passion, and how to figure out what my passion is. My parents who wish for me to be happy. Well you know what Mum and Dad? I AM happy. I am truly happy when I'm living my passion. To be dancing and inspiring other women to dance in this ride called life.

Where are you growing in your life? Where are you stuck and need a push? To grow is to have courage to step out of your comfort zone and live the way you want to live!

It Happened!!!!

I am sitting at home trying to keep grounded. I am on cloud nine!!! *happy dance* I'm living my purpose, my passion! I taught my first mini Burlesque lesson tonight for a group of ladies here in Calgary. I had so much fun! It was awesome to see them start to laugh and feel great about themselves. We went through body isolation's, zoning, and walking. Then we put a little routine together for the walking part. We also played with our boa's and had lots of giggling.

I loved inspiring the women, for me to be seen by these women demonstrating what zoning is was huge for me. The women all did amazing! They said they all felt better after doing the zoning. There may be some higher water bills in the near future in their house! They all seemed more relaxed.

I was almost moved to tears after I was finished, knowing that I did it, I had a group of women learning basic Burlesque from me. I had many of the women come up and say thank you to me, that they had fun. It was such a thrilling experience. I can't wait to do more!

After the "official" lesson was over, some of us stayed and danced, I showed the ladies some other moves with the boa's, they all loved it!

I was living my purpose, inspiring women to be fully who they are and accept their own wisdom, beauty, and grace! It's my passion. It was felt by the women there.

It's happening!

During my last session with my life coach, I was encouraged to start really putting myself out there with my passion/purpose/gift to the world. I wrote to a fellow Goddess about coming to the Social Goddess Dance that takes place in Calgary, and teaching a 30min free mini lesson in Burlesque.

So I wrote to her the other day and got a response. Yes was her response!!!! We are now trying to figure out the day that will work for both of us. I am super excited!! I can't wait to inspire this group of women!

I have some work to do now, I am choosing to put together a 30min lesson!

I have also been talking with a fellow Sister Goddess who is an artist, who may be able to assist me in creating a logo for my gift to the world.

So I am super excited, and remembering to breathe and living with love and passion! Need to stay grounded and centered too!

Good afternoon world....as I sit here glued to my telivision watching the Olympic Gold Medal game for Men's Hockey, I am proud to be Canadian! I am also proud to be going after my dreams, and goals. I can picture myself on a hill with the wind blowing my skirt, the sun shining on my face. My arms are open up wide to accept all the gifts that the Universe has given to me. And as well that I've created! For I am a powerful creator!

I must say thank you to my coach who's been helping me with this vision, a couple of months ago she asked me to picture myself in 10 years time. And that is what I pictured. Me standing on a hill with my face to the sun.

Inspiring Women!

Welcome all! This blog theme is all about inspiration. To inspire women around the world to acknowledge their own wisdom, beauty, and grace. We as women need to take a moment and celebrate our own wisdom, beauty, and grace.

As for myself, I continue to work on these topics as well, I wanted to share my journey with the world to follow.

I am inspired by many things around me. I am inspired by the young people that I work with. The children of the day care continue to surprise me. Sometimes I just sit in awe watching the children play and be so imaginative! The things they create and come up with. There was one day that a child was playing in the "house keeping" area, he said to me that he's my chef and he would cook me a meal. I had to stifel my laughter, because he was wearing big blue goggles that are actualy apart of the construction play set and a little vest that is from the dress up area that the kids use for being a chef. He was so proud of his "work" that he didn't care what he looked like.

This reminds me that when I am doing something that I am passionate about, it doesn't matter how I look. As long as I put my heart and soul into that which I am doing, life is all good. I could be so emotional in what I am doing, but it shows my passion, determination and drive for what I believe is good.
